1. What is Kombucha?

Kombucha = Sugar+Tea +Scoby

It is a fermented tea that has been consumed for thousands of years. Not only does it have the same health benefits as tea — it's also rich in beneficial probiotics.Kombucha also contains antioxidants, can kill harmful bacteria and may help fight several diseases.

2. How can I choose a suitable Kombucha Fermentation Vessel?

Depends on:

  • Kombucha Fermentation volume per day/month

  • Everage local temperature

  • Qualified of Water (needs to be distilled, bottle spring water, or filtered)

  • Alcohol degree requirement

For 400L (other volume capacities are available) volume of Kombucha fermentation under 20c~28c degree aerobic, the SCOBY needs to “breather” while it “eats” the sugars in the sweetened tea. While eating the sugars, the SCOBY takes in oxygen, and releases carbon dioxide. Some of the carbon dioxide remains dissolved in the kombucha tea, but most is lost.
